Christine Caligtan, BSN, RN

Christine Caligtan is PNA-NY newly elected Board Member for 2006-2008 term . She is the Clinical Information Systems Resource Nurse at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). Christine works as the liaison between the Nursing and Information Technology departments providing clinical content and recommendation with the design and configuration of our clinical information system.

Christine, as her friends and colleagues call her, is a graduate of the 4-year Nursing Program in Boston.Concurrently, she is working towards her Master's Degree in Nursing Informatics at New York University.

As a travelling nurse, Christine had worked in various hospitals in both the west coast and east coast areas. Other interests include yoga, running, and eating healthy food. She is spearheading the Healthy Initiative Project for PNAA.
